Who is Elizabeth Winchester?
Elizabeth Winchester is a journalist and business professional whose work has appeared in The Loyola Phoenix, Rambler Radar, and on YouTube.
​
They previously interned with the LGBTQ+ nonprofit organization PFLAG National, where they collaborated on social media strategy and spearheaded the successful relaunch of PFLAG’s TikTok account. During their internship, they contributed to major campaigns such as Read with Love and Lead Like Jeanne, participated in the organization’s annual glossary review, and added new terms and definitions to help make LGBTQ+ terminology more accessible and inclusive.
A graduate of Loyola University Chicago, Winchester earned Magna Cum Laude honors with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Management and Multimedia Journalism. As a student, they were deeply involved in Loyola’s School of Communication, contributing to the award-winning student newspaper The Loyola Phoenix and the weekly sports broadcasting show Rambler Sports Locker. They were also an active member of Women in Business and the Lambda Pi Eta National Communication Honor Society.

Creatively, Winchester has eight years of classical violin training and three years of vocal training. They were actively involved in theatre throughout high school, holding leadership roles such as Stage Manager and Student Director. Outside of their professional work, they are an avid reader and writer—one of their original stories earned first place in an online writing competition.
Winchester currently resides in Downtown Chicago and works full-time as a Front Desk Agent at the Fairmont Chicago, where they deliver exceptional guest experiences in a luxury hospitality setting. They are eager to continue growing professionally and explore future opportunities that combine their creativity, communication skills, and business acumen.
